Dear Readers,
Does anyone have a cure for the common cold? Anyone?
I have managed to get nearly the exact same thing I had at the beginning of this month AGAIN.
Training is being derailed today because my head is about to bust open. Praying the fatigue and congestion ease up tomorrow and maybe I can get
my workout tomorrow.
I guess it's better to get sick week one, then week six.
Happy training, Stevi

Ugh, so sorry you're feeling sick again.
I used to run through it when I was sick. I'm no wuss :) But recently I've stopped doing that. And you know what, I get better so much sooner. No colds that linger forever.
Let yourself get some quality rest and keep taking in fluids. Hope you're feeling 100% again soon!
That sucks that you are sick again! You are right though, week 1 better than mid training. Hope you feel better soon! Get lots of rest!

Thanks so much Blondie and CJ!
Last time I got this I was lucky and had two rest days planned (since the first two days are the worst) it didn't hurt my running, and I actually got a mileage PR that week.
I have slept pretty much all yesterday afternoon and today hoping to feel ok enough to get 4 or so miles in. Hubby says better to at least get a few recovery miles in then to miss them altogether. I should be just a snot rag for my long run that got pushed to Sunday since Chris is racing tomorrow.
I'll let you know how things go!
Thanks again.....oh let me say I didn't get sick at all in 2009, 2010 is not being nice to me at all (or maybe it is teaching me to HTFU:-)
